Sam the Creepy Circus Cat

Meet Sam.
Sam is a circus cat. He is not being treated very nicely and he hates his job but what wouldn't you do for food these days. Every night kids come to watch the show and Sam hopes one of them take him home and give him lots of hugs and treats. Sam doesn't know what it feels like to be hugged and petted. He's been kicked many times though. Kids seem to be scared of Sam for some reason....

Sam is a hand crafted artist cat. He is both hand and machine stitched. I made him out of mohair and tea stained knit fabric. He's got some needle felted parts, glass eyes, hand sculpted polymer clay claws, hand stitched felt clothes. His body is stuffed with plush fiber fill and poly pellets. Flexible steel wire runs through his spine. His arms and legs are soft. I used pastels to give Sam some color.
The cat measures approximately 13'' when seated and 21'' from ear tips to toes.
